Guy Courtney Steib is the Probate Guy: a licensed Texas real estate agent based in Cypress who specializes in inherited properties and in helping families sell homes after a loved one passes away. He came to this work the hard way, as an executor himself, and he built a practice for the families who need an agent that knows the estate process from the inside.
Why this work
An executor who became the specialist
Guy knows probate from the executor's side of the table, not just the real estate side. When his own mother passed away, he stepped in as executor and settled her estate across three properties in three different states, with three separate lawyers and three separate courts. He lived the slow paper trail, the waiting, the weight of every decision, and the relief of finally seeing it close.
That experience is why he built Probate Guy TX around this specialty, and why he pursued the Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES) designation and the Certified Probate Expert (CPE) credential.
